Desert Chic Living (desertchicliving.com) is owned and operated by AZ Elite Communications and Consulting LLC, an Arizona company (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you buy a digital product: your name, email address, and billing details needed to process your order and deliver your download.
When you contact us or leave a comment: the information you choose to share, such as your name, email address, and message. For comments, we also collect your IP address and browser information to help detect spam.
When you browse the site: general usage information such as pages visited, time on site, device type, and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see below).
Payments
Payments are processed securely by PayPal and WooPayments (powered by Stripe). We never see or store your full card or bank details. These providers handle your payment information under their own privacy policies.
Affiliate links and third-party cookies
Desert Chic Living is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Third parties, including Amazon and other advertisers, may serve content and advertisements, collect information directly from visitors, and place or recognize cookies on visitors’ browsers. When you click an affiliate link, the retailer may use cookies to track your purchase so we receive credit. We may also participate in affiliate or discount code programs with individual brands, which work the same way.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit) to understand how visitors use the site. Google processes this data under Google’s Privacy Policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We and our partners use them to keep the site working, remember comment details if you choose, understand site traffic, and track affiliate purchases. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as expected.
Embedded content
Posts may include embedded content such as Instagram and TikTok videos. Embedded content behaves as if you visited the other website, and those sites may collect data about you, use cookies, and track your interaction with the content.
Security
We use security tools, including a firewall and malware scanning, to protect the site. These tools may log IP addresses and browser information to block malicious activity.
How we use your information
We use your information to deliver your purchases, respond to messages, moderate comments, improve the site, and keep it secure. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as needed for tax and legal purposes. Comments and their details are kept indefinitely so follow-up comments can be approved automatically. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to send you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, except where we must keep it for legal, tax, or security reasons. Email us at hello@desertchicliving.com.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
